Effective September 28, 2026. By using GradePlanner you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
What it is
GradePlanner shows courses, grades, and assignments from a Schoology account you connect, and stores planning notes you add (goals, retakes, placeholders). It is not your school's gradebook. Official grades stay in Schoology.
Who may use it
A student may connect their own Schoology account. A parent or guardian may connect an account that Schoology already allows to view that student. You may only view data you are authorized to view.
Your Schoology account
You approve access through Schoology. You can revoke it in Schoology. We never receive your Schoology password. You are responsible for signing out on a shared computer.
Acceptable use
Use GradePlanner for your own school planning. Do not scrape it, break its limits, or look at another family's data. Do not share your login so someone else can see a student's grades.
Plans are not a promise
A what-if, a placeholder, or a "what do I need" result is a calculation from the copy of your grades we last synced. It can be wrong if the copy is stale, if a category is empty, or if the teacher changes a score. Confirm anything important in Schoology.
The service can change
We may change or stop features. We may suspend access that breaks these terms. Schoology can also revoke the connection.
Liability
GradePlanner is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions you or your school make from a projected grade, or for Schoology being unavailable.
